Old and new educational theories argue the extraordinary facility of learning when the first approach to the event is done by ‘”immersion” in reality, not only ‘hearing’ the lesson, but ‘doing’ it, ‘smelling’ it, ‘tasting’ it too! We set up our teaching to provide this kind of ‘immersion’ experience. Our teachers, Nadia, Erica and Ivo, all young Agricultural Technicians, know well how to teach the technical and scientific – the secrets that lie behind the processes – and to communicate them to even very young children. Each student will also be given a notebook outlining what they have learned to take home with them. This is useful for those who have come as a class with their teacher. Our hope is that these notebooks will serve the teachers to help pick up where our teachers left off.

We have 2 didactic laboratories, an audiovisual room, an eco-museum with ancient tools and machines, and themed entertainment centers for the different types of activity, 2 walking paths furnished with directions, fields and playgrounds and we have a bus with 40 seats for movement around the farm.

The educational activity includes lunch with a menu of certified organic meat and CoAlvi. It also includes visits to the fields, barns, laboratories of il Frutto permesso and horseback riding.

Cost: 13 Euro per person.

Divided into educational activities performed in the morning, and in leisure activities (horse riding, trips with a tractor and trailer) or tours, conducted in the afternoon with our bus. The sleeping accommodation is at the Cascina SIIA appropriately equipped to house groups up to 40 people in rooms of 4 to 8 beds.
