It starts with farmers.
Although our activities range from processing food for catering to hospitality for cultural activities, Il Frutto Permesso is first and foremost a group of farmers. Our production base is made up of 15 farms, located both in the plains and up to 2,000 meters high in the Pellice Valley.
Everything we grow is produced from organic farming, in accordance with EU regulations and the control and certification of ICEA
From pasture to cheese, from cereals to meats, orchards and market gardens to jam, from farm to fork, all of our products are produced by us.
We produce biodiversity.
In addition to traditional varieties and new varieties resistant to pests, we cultivate the old lines of Piemont apples and pears maintained by Slow Food: la Grigia di Torriana, la Runsè, la Magnana, Martin Sec.
We also cultivate the old corn polenta such as Pignulet and Ottofile and we raise native cattle and sheep breeds like the Piedmont calf and the oxen and the Frabosana sheep.
